I have just recently signed up for an account with EntreCard and I must say the increase in my traffic is phenomenal! Sign up is free and the increase in traffic is almost instant! It's quick, it's easy and it's fun!
I see it as a blog networking goup, very similar to a business networking group. You create a card that is sort of like an online business card for your blog. When you visit the blogs of other EntreCard members, you can "drop" your card for them, giving them the opportunity to view your blog and also earning you credits for a variety of things such as advertising on other members' blogs.
Other members will also request to advertise on your blog, which earns you even more credits! And; of course you have the right to approve or deny any and all "advert requests. As we all know the key to a successful blog is exposure and targeted traffic and EntreCard provides just that! Check it out for yourself!

What's The Deal With Paid Links?
I did not write this article, however I feel that it has value and is well worth sharing, giving full credit to the author of course! Thanks Jason!

Google Time Warp Edition
Here's a hard truth for the hardliners to swallow: Outlawing something sometimes has worse consequences than the thing outlawed. Or, as the mob tried to tell Congress once: Prohibition's a bitch.
Pardon my French. I'm descended from Appalachian bootleggers.
Google's recent and notorious hard line stance against paid links is resulting in something quite predictable: The disaffected are leveraging every back-alley strategy they can think up. At least it doesn't involve exploding trailers, tripwires, or bullets.
Andy Beard was a bit of a pioneer on the link-laundering front; his (complicated) strategy for masking paid links got some attention last month. But simpler tactics are emerging, some inspired by Google itself.
One of them, which is the digital-world equivalent of impersonating a police officer is destined for a crackdown. Dave Naylor points to (and thus becomes a bit of a narc) what appear to be Google ads but are really nicely done spoofs.
Now that's pretty sneaky.
John Andrews reports another method, which Google would have hard time targeting since the idea came from them to begin with. Instead of buying links, barter for them, which makes for a weird 21st Century currency time warp.
It's so dreamy, oh fantasy free me/ So you can't see me, no not at all/In another dimension…
It's just a jump to the left and then a step to the right to find Google rewarding volunteer participants at the Google blog with juice-filled back links. Andrews gets a little dramatic in his analogies (so do I, for that matter) comparing Google to a casino and SEOs to card-counters before suggesting Google is actively looking to destroy the entire SEO industry.
There is a nugget of reason within this paragraph, though. See if you can find it. (Hint: It's in bold type.)
The take-away is this, folks: Google is controlling you not for some benevolent reason, but in order to control the currency of the web. It took X amount of effort in those forums, dedicated for free by those posters, to earn a direct backlink from Google’s very popular webmaster blog. What was that worth? Google got to decide. Google thinks it is fine to barter in links without the nofollow… it just wants the price for such links to remain pitifully low, managed by Google. Can you see it now? Do we really need to wait a few more years until it is perfectly clear beyond any doubt that Google has all of the money and there is no room for us to share?
… But it's the pelvic thru-ust/ that really drives you insane-yay-yay-yay-yane.
Bob Massa carries on that idea in this extraordinarily long, but perhaps more reasonable, post, which you can read for lots of good industry insight, or you can rely on Aaron Wall to dig out a solid, actionable nugget. In a smaller nutshell, people will barter links in exchange because:
Either it makes them money, saves them time, provides added value to their visitors or they believe it makes them look good or smart or benevolent to their visitors, their peers, their friends, their relatives, to the search engines, award sites or just about anyone that can make them a buck or stroke their ego.
Or, as it's still known by the revenuers in Washington: You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

Blogging And Google Adsense
A really simple way to make a little extra money online or even potentially a lot of extra money, especially if you like to write is to create a blog and incorporate google adsense into your blog. Your blog can be about anything that your passionate about, opinionated about or have a vast amount of knowledge about. The key is to make it fun and interesting so that people will want to read it! Then, of course you'll need traffic (people visiting your blog). I'm not going to get into traffic building just yet because it is a very extensive subject that I am still in the process of learning about and attempting to master.
Once you've created your blog you can sign up for google adsense. (it's free) Basically what adsense does is places targeted ads on your on your blog that are relevant to your content. Every time that someone clicks on one of these ads, you get paid! The amount of money that you will get paid per click varies greatly from a few cents to quite a few dollars per click, but the bottom line is you will get paid for every click! There are several "program policies" that you must adhere to. Most importantly, you can not click on your own ads and you can not specifically ask for clicks. Trust me; as you start to develop more traffic, the clicks will come! We live in a "click happy" world now and it doesn't cost your readers anything to click on the ads to see what they are about. Remember, the ads are targeted to your content so they should be of interest to your readers. Another plus is... I have heard that there are lots of bloggers out there that click on ads in the blogs that they like as sort of a small contribution to the blog writer's creative efforts!
Good Luck!

Project Payday
There are lots of ways to make money online, but most of them require a big investment of either time and/or money. You will have to put in some time, but very little money. If you don't work at it you won't make anything. It's not a BS set it and forget it system, however if you can devote 2-3 hours a day to it, you can easily make $150 to $200 a day or more if you can devote more time and you really can start getting paid within a few days of signing up. It's not for everybody though, but a lot of people absolutely love it. It involves completing offers at IFW's (Internet Freebie Websites)
Unlike most of the other ridiculous "Make $1,000 a day" ads you see all over the Net, Project Payday is definitely different.
* It's fairly easy and most anyone can do it
* You can be up and running in under an hour
* Training Videos walk you through everything
* They have real membership support
You won't "get rich" but it is a realistic extra income system for the "Average Joe" as they call it.
I have never seen anything like this before, and I'm sure you probably haven't either. This is a unique strategy for making a realistic extra income online. I use it and it really works!
Check out the videos on the site and see what you think ... Project Payday

Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing is one way to way to make some cash on the internet. You are promoting someone else's product or service and in return you get a certain percentage of each sale that is generated from your promotion. There are many companies that are happy to do this because it's free advertising for them. This is usually accomplished by providing you (the affiliate) with a special tracking link to the company's website and if a sale is made you will receive credit and get paid your commision. The upside is you don't have to come up with your own product or service to sell. The downside is you (as an affiliate) generally don't get paid for referrals. You only receive a set amount per sale and there is no "mark-up" because all sales are made by the company, therefore you'll want to refer a lot of traffic your target company's website and there are a lot of affiliates out there making a lot of money.
Affiliate programs directories are one way to find affiliate programs, another method is large affiliate networks that provide the platform for dozens or even hundreds of advertisers. The third option is to check the target website itself for a reference to their affiliate program. Websites, which offer an affiliate program often, have a link titled "affiliate program", "affiliates", "referral program" or "webmasters" somewhere on their website, usually in the footer or "About" section of the site. Even if all those methods seem to indicate that a site does not have an affiliate program, it could still be the case that there exists a non-public affiliate program. The only way to find out for sure, is to contact the site owner directly and ask.
If your interested in learning more about affiliate marketing, send me an Email by clicking on the Email tab at the top of the page and I will send you the free report that got me started. There is no catch. Your not signing up for anything. Your not going to be placed on a list and the report is really free. What you do with it is totally up to you. I will tell you that there is a pitch at the end to buy a membership. I did and it was well worth it, but you don't have to if you don't want to and you can still use all the information in the report and get yourself started as an affiliate marketer. Good Luck and if you do take me up on my offer and send an Email, please put "send my free report" in the subject line and you should receive it within 24 hours.
